HACIENDA MODERN | Arcadia, Phoenix, AZ

Inspired by the client's love for bold color and traditional Mexican craft, the design incorporates Talavera pottery, richly veined stone, patterned tile inlays, and curated plantings to echo the spirit of the Southwest with an elevated sense of rhythm and order.

At the heart of the space, a majestic ironwood tree becomes the sculptural centerpiece—its branches mirrored in the still water of the pool like a living piece of art. The spa’s deep red mosaic finish and submerged stepping pads add both vibrancy and playfulness, inviting barefoot exploration, beckoning children and adults alike to slow down and engage.

This is a space where color sings, yet never shouts—where the wildness of the desert is welcomed but gently composed. Hacienda Modern is more than a name; it’s a mood, a memory, and a modern-day oasis rooted in tradition and joy.
