Don’t Settle For A ‘One-Stop Pool Shop’
When you work with me, our work smoothly unfolds over four distinct phases. Each phase is à la carte and may be engaged independently at our mutual discretion.
I’ve perfected this process over the last two decades — and it gives you the advantage of not having to settle for a “one stop pool shop”, where you’re not (necessarily) getting the top expert in each discipline (landscaping, lighting, etc.).
Instead, the 4-phase Bianchi Process allows me to function as the Artistic Director for your project,
My job is to curate a team of trusted experts who are masters in their respective disciplines — and then bring the Concept Design to fruition through detailed plans, construction drawings, and masterful oversight in the field from the time the construction commences until the last detail is finished.
How The Bianchi Process Works: Four Phases To Fruition

Phase I: CONCEPT
In Phase I, I immerse myself in your site and your desires for the project.Unlike traditional pool and landscape companies (who send you piecemeal interim sketches, or cursory concepts), I will deliver a fully realized Master Plan Concept Design, giving you certainty and resolution about your direction and site’s potential.
You may opt for 2D or 3D renderings for the Concept Design
Phase I is billed at a flat fee based on scope, size, and complexity of your site, and includes one revision session.

Phase II: CURATION
In Phase II, I begin selecting contractors from my cadre of trusted experts for all pieces of the project (lighting, landscaping, tile, etc.).As I do this, I prepare design development drawings that convey quantities and detail to contractors, so that I can gather quotes from each.
Then I facilitate the preparation of proposals for your review, and coordinate an introductory meeting with the key team members.
Phase II is billed with a flat initiation fee to commence, then billed hourly. Feed may be credited toward Phases III & IV.

Phase 3: COMMUNICATION
Now that your budgets are approved & the team is assembled, we move into Phase III.I begin dimensioning and refining the construction drawings for your expert craftsmen’s use in the field. (As they say: measure twice, cut once.)
I communicate with each contractor and craftsman, ensuring they fully comprehend the design concept, and how their piece fits into the whole.
This is where foresight and thoughtful design becomes buildable reality – and my direct communication with the craftsmen in the field ensures that our creative vision becomes a reality.

Phase 4: CONSTRUCTION
Phase IV is the continuation of the conversation in Phase III …During construction, while your contractor liaises with you for scheduling and communications, I function as “Artistic Director”.
My work is to bring the Concept Design to fruition by communicating on-site feedback at milestones, and working behind the scenes to collaborate, fine tune, preserve the design intent.
I’ll review client and contractor correspondence and photo logs behind the scenes, to monitor and provide feedback toward meeting the design intent.
Phases III & IV are billed at 10% of Total Contractor Costs.
